In a similar move, LB30 in Nebraska which is currently being introduced, would eliminate a Cities (aimed at Omaha & Lincoln) right to negotiate and maintain a retirement pension.
This is the same type of bill that Iowa has on deck, only a watered down version aimed to slowly eliminate our rights to negotiate a fair and competitive wage, benefit, and retirement structure to help retain and attract quality officers.
