Atlantic City PD possibly facing forced reduction of officers and pay cuts.
This just sounds like a nightmare any way you look at it. New Jersey has stepped in and refuses to sign off on a contract that Atlantic City and its officers have agreed upon, all because the state doesn't like it.

The article goes on to indicate that the PD may also lose up to 250 officers, forced pay cuts, & making the officers work 12 hour shifts.

We'd love to see what Atlantic Cities new hiring classes look like if the state fully takes over and does what they deem "best".

What do you think, should the state be able to step into an agreement between the cities and officers and change what they want?
